Based on this principle, Istanbul SBU Mehmet Akif Ersoy Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Hospital Robotic Cardiovascular Surgery Center has been successfully performing robotic heart surgeries since 2013. Our center is in the first place in Turkey and among the few centers in Europe with its case density and experience.
Our center is a center where physicians from Turkey and abroad are trained for both minimally invasive and robotic heart surgeries.
In our Cardiovascular Surgery Center, since May 2013, many heart surgeries have been performed with tiny incisions in the thorax, and the chest wall has not been opened. To date, more than 650 patients have been treated using the minimally invasive robotic heart surgery technique.
