DIABETIC PATIENT TRAINING (Diabetes Education Nurse)
Purpose:
To improve the quality of life by meeting the educational, care and consultancy needs of diabetic patients and their relatives in line with the mission, vision, procedures and instructions of our hospital; providing preventive health services to individuals and their relatives at risk for diabetes; to follow up the developments related to diabetes and to plan and deliver trainings to the patients and their relatives and all healthcare professionals in parallel with the developments; It is obliged to reflect these developments to all areas of diabetes within the hospital.
Diabetes Education Nurse
The diabetes education nurse operates under the Health Care Services Manager.
Education Related Activities
Education System
Our diabetic patient education is given by our diabetes education nurse to all diabetic patients admitted to our hospital from outpatient clinics and who are in need of education. Our physicians or nurses make requests to our diabetes education nurse through the nucleus system in order to meet the diabetes education needs of the patients and are given to the patients according to their training needs.
Diabetes Patient School Trainings
Our Diabetes Patient School is held 5 times a year and our training plan and training presentations are enclosed.
In-Service Trainings
Our diabetes trainings for our employees are planned and conducted in cooperation with the Training and R & D Unit.
