CARDIOVASCULAR SURGERY PEDIATRIC INTENSIVE CARE
Any patient whose vital functions are impaired in such a way as to be life-threatening is defined as critically ill. In the Pediatrics CVC Intensive Care Unit, vital support is provided to critically ill children for 24 hours with a multidisciplinary approach. Our Pediatrics Kvc Intensive Care Unit serves as 3rd level 29 beds. In these intensive care units, 24 beds are designed as single rooms.
Children are very different from adults with their metabolism, physiology and psychology. Since the diseases seen in the childhood age group and their treatments differ, critically ill children in this age group are treated in pediatric intensive care units. In pediatric intensive care units, artificial respiration devices, monitors and dialysis devices are used for the treatment and follow-up of critical child patients. All laboratory tests are performed for pediatric patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit. and imaging tests.
In our unit, where all critically ill patients are admitted, all kinds of follow-up, treatment and care services related to the patient have been carried out by the department staff since the patient's admission.
